I have worked with students of all different ages, and I have certification for teaching kindergarten through sixth grade. I have worked as a tutor for many years, and love to help new students learn. I enjoy tutoring in a public library, since I find the atmosphere and material available are usually helpful to our sessions, but I can also travel to the student's home if needed.I offer tutoring in Math, Reading, Writing, Elementary Math, Science, Vocabulary, Medieval Literature, Art, Handwriting, Phonics, Psychology, Social Sciences, Ancient Literature, Social Studies, European History, U.S. History, and World Civilization. I also help with writing college essays, developing good study habits and organization, and test prep for ISEE Lower-Middle Level and SSAT Elementary-Middle Level. I am a graduate of The State University of New York (SUNY), Old Westbury, and SUNY, Stony Brook. In my free time, I love to read, be out in nature, and go for walks.
